I think it's cool that the internet can connect you to people all over the world!
I think I trust my internet friends just as much as my general friends, but I trust no one more than my best friend!
For me the internet is sort of a way for me to release "my dark side"... I kinda mainly use it to whine, bitch and moan a lot. My "real" friends are mainly for fun and games.
I think it's because online I can be anonymous, so if I fuck up and say something a bit too whiny or whatever, then I can just erase my profile and pretend I never existed. You can't do that in real life...

i think they both kinda balance each other out, like internet friends can do or are better at doing certain things than real friends. i have both, but i think i do value my real friends more because they know me better and we hang out...you can't always have or do that with internet friends.
